days gone by

I've been trying to keep up with Project 365, but since the absence of my camera (both of them now, since I forgot to bring the charger for the battery to NC), I've decided to postpone the start of the project until after I get my camera back. Which, by the way, is done fixing! But is en route to my home address, which is the wrong address. But I think this kind of shows me that things don't always go according to plan, and even so, there's always another way or another time. These little speed bumps that are put in our paths aren't mountains put before us. And even if they are...we can have the faith to move them right?! :)

Diversity

Today (though it is now Sunday, 2:38 am) marked my return to NC after taking a break in PA. I had forgotten about the scenic routes that are all over PA. You can drive in the city, pass a jail and admire the archcitecture, look at tractor crossing signs, be slowed down by a horse and carriage, drive by mansions, cross bridges and dams, and last, but certainly not least (because it contributed much to the excitement and long duration of our trip), drive miles and miles along fields (of white flowers) and white picket fences and barns and silos. That is one of the things that I love about PA.

Day 3:

Note: Work on drive-by photo shootings.

Traveling Shoes

I've been in the house a lot due to lack of transportation and lack of knowledge of getting around (since we just moved). However, I was able to get out of the house today and eat Vietnamese food with my parents and to visit other various stores.

Day 2:

This was one of my fortunes. Out of 4 fortunes (one cookie came with an extra one), this was the best one. The others were as follows:
"You and your wife will be happy in your life together."
"You should be able to make money and hold on to it."
"Time is money."
The first one would have been nice, except for the fact that I'm a female, and I would hope to have no wife in the future. I like this one though, goes along with my not-hesitating resolution.

Jumping On The Bandwagon

I've decided to join the revolution of Project 365. I thought I would wait until my camera returned to me (it's getting repaired), but I just couldn't. :) I've always wanted to do something like this, but needed that extra oomph. And this year, one of the things I'm working on is not hesitating to do things.

With that being said, I must use my old camera in the meantime, which isn't the greatest. But it shall suffice.

Day 1:

This summarizes what I've been doing a lot at home. Uploading CDs onto iTunes and checking pictures. (Yes, that is facebook). "Not too interesting," you say? Well, I would say so too.
