Day 15:
There's a brilliant sky above and a jealous moon in love...
For the past few nights, I've been playing with long exposure because I get this beautiful nighttime view outside of my window. I know this one's overexposed (and the reflection of the window doesn't help either), but I wanted to put it up.

Chinese New Year Celebrations
Day 11:
This precious little girl (the one on the right) sat in front of us during Chinese New Years Celebration at RCCC. That bright red apple nestled in her tiny hands looked so delicious.
So of course I took pictures of her. And I like this next procession of pictures the best. I call it-- Grace Teaching FOB-etiquette:

The Elevator Blues
Day 10:
Friday afternoon I went to City of Durham to pick up my W2 since FAFSA's are due March 1, HOORAY! Anyway, while working there last summer, we were advised not to take the elevator on Friday afternoons around 5 pm because if you get stuck, there'll be no one to help you. As I got on the elevator this fated Friday, I thought about that story and laughed...thinking how ironic it'd be if I got stuck, while not working there anymore.
I think you know what happens next.
So I jumped thinking that maybe the elevator would think no one's in there causing the doors to open...then I pressed all the levels so that it would go to one of the other floors before plummeting to the bottom. (A pencil for you who knows what movie that's from.)
So I got the chance to press the call button and then pull the emergency stop, as well as the alarm--but in this case, it was used for an actual purpose other than a dare or something.
I thought this picture would be appropriate. Though I really wanted to take a picture of when the doors opened and the 3 firemen all reached their hands out for me to grab so I could climb up onto the 4th floor while the elevator was stuck between the 3rd and 4th.
Oh, I also didn't get my W2.

Romance is in the Berry
Day 6:
Erica and I have lunch dates. And being the devoted p365 people we are, we made good use of this time and snapped away on our cameras. This would have just been an ordinary picture playing around with macro shots and use of reflection. However, with the strawberry...romance is in the air.
Red lips, cell phone...

We All Need Somebody To Lean On
Day 2:
My Tigger has a friend for the next several months. I just realized that they're both tigers! Hao koo!! Or something.
Haiku?
No, lonely no more
Tigger has found a new friend
Stay, friend, forever!

Love Is All You Need
I'm posting. What does that mean?? I HAVE MY CAMERA BACK! I got so excited that I tore the box open at the post office. Well, first I was SO excited that I practically ran out of the post office, couldn't wait until I got back to my room so I could start playing with it, but then remembered that I ran back to my room in the first place to grab batteries and the memory card. So I ran back to the post office (scaring a guy on my way back) and THEN tore the box open...and took a picture of the blinds in the post office. It wasn't a very interesting picture.
BUT, in light of Valentine's Day...
The State guys surprised the girls after our small group meeting with an electrical rendition of "My Heart Will Go On," some flowers, and CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES! :) It was a "Strawberry-licious" night indeed! Anyway, this is my pic of the day, perhaps the first of my P365 series? Let's hope so!
