Birthday Surprises

Day 177:

THEY BOUGHT US A BIRTHDAY CAKE FROM GRAND ASIA.
I used to get these all the time, with the taro in the middle. Boy did I take those for granted. This delicious treat was a surprise as well...

Day 176:

Birthday dinner at Cafe Luna--holding our free dessert!

I should mention also that there was a bike festival downtown that same night. Perfect for us, no?

Ants in my pants

Day 175:

So one night, I found all these ants...in my bed. They somehow crawled in from the window sill and my bed was touching the sill so, naturally of course, they all crawled onto my bed.

Playtime with Nemu

Day 174:

This is how we have fun with Nemu--tying balloons to her collar, full well knowing that she's scared of them.


And then trapping her under our legs so that she squirms left and right to get out.


And lastly, impairing her vision by placing objects of clothing around her head.

We love Nemu. :)
