Day 46:
This weekend, Carol and I have been apartment hunting. We want to live here...Westover Hills. This place was beautiful. :)

I'm Like A Bird
Day 40:
I finally decided to play with motion blur. :)
I spent the afternoon at this beautiful pond/gazebo in a neighborhood in Cary.
The geese and turtles constantly pop up to say hello!
Doesn't this remind you of "Sound of Music"...except during the day? "I am sixteen going on seventeen..." I think this movie is the reason for my love of gazebos.
Then I ended up on the set of Mary Poppins:

Brahms' Requiem
Day 39:
I went to Duke Saturday evening to listen to Brahms' Requiem. It was beautiful, though I admit falling asleep at some times...but only due to sheer exhaustion. I swear! But what I also found amazing was the ceiling when I looked up in the auditorium. The oculus.
Which reminded me of a building we studied in my Art History class:
The Pantheon!! Granted that this isn't...but this building, I believe, was modeled after the Pantheon, like many others have been, such as Thomas Jefferson's building on UVA campus.
Man...the things I learn in Art History, like "oxbow"...saved my butt in Cranium!

Atlanta: Day 2
Day 25 (today's a cheating day because my first picture won't be my picture of the day...but there was so much to do in Atlanta that I need to post an overview):
We woke up and played with Bailey.
We went to IKEA to test out some beds. It's like Goldilocks and the 3 bears. And we're the 3 bears.
Ate at Bonehead's. Mmm, delicious and inexpensive fish to prepare us for our next stop...
Georgia State Aquarium!
Followed by rock climbing at Dick's to work off all the fish we ate. ;)
But then it was time to eat some more at Umezono (is that right?). SO delicious!

Pair of Running Shoes
Day 21:
I went for a run today after an inspirational conversation with Sketchie McSketchster last night. The run was amazing. But I will need to remind myself to constantly stay hydrated. Otherwise...I'd have to resort to eating alcoholic bananas (ick) to appease my throbbing headaches!
By the way, I apologize for the forced setting. It was getting late and I needed a picture. :\

Drive-thru
Day 20:
It was such a beautiful day. I love the feeling of the wind when it forms a ball in your cupped hand. I used to drive around aimlessly in high school, frequently after lacrosse practices. I think one day I almost ended up in NJ! Oops.. But that was back when gas was much, MUCH cheaper. Anyway, this was on the way to Ming's house. I took this while I was driving...but slowly, on a small road. I loved it.

A Card-Board Day!
Day 18:
He was a skater boi! She said see ya later boi!
We played frisbee at a park...really, we did. Then Eddie found Peter Pan's shadow and tried to spear him.
Then we took a walk with Erica's parents to see the eclipse (which you obviously don't see in this picture).
And I think this last picture pretty much sums up the rest of the night.
